What Size Fits My Boat?
KingFisher Bimini’s come in four different models or sizes to suit most recreational boats. The length and height of all 4 models is the same at 2.8m and 1.4m respectively with a clearance of 1.06m between the gunwale and bimini frame. The standing height will be different for each boat depending on the height of the gunwales and where the floor is set.
To determine which KingFisher model you require you need to measure the distance between the gunwales (or sides) of your boat.
If you have wide gunwales (top), you can choose where on them you would like to mount the brackets, with the inner and outer edges recommended for strength. On gunwales less than 40mm you should mount them in the centre. The brackets will need to be mounted 50cm apart. Measure the distance between where you will mount the brackets and use the table below to determine the best size. The KingFisher can be fitted 100mm wider and 50mm narrower than the listed size. For example, a 1750 can be fitted to a minimum of 1700mm and a maximum of 1850mm.
Additional accessories such as Rail Mount, Speed Stay, Stabiliser Brace and Plus 100 Kits are available to suit different and specific applications.
